Yosemite Trip

In December, Ryan and I headed to Yosemite for my birthday. Although it was December, there was no snow and no water falls. We set up a picnic, hiked throughout Yosemite Falls, went to the famous  Ahwahnee Hotel to drink wine and play cards, and popped a bottle of Veuve Clicquot to celebrate the day. 

On a side note, Ryan gave me an amazing tripod for my birthday. It came in so handy on this trip. We were able to capture moments together we couldn't otherwise. I can't wait to take my camera and tripod to Spain and London this spring!

I had been searching for new bedside lamps for a while when I came across these sconces from West Elm. I love the idea that they free up space on our bedside tables. I feel like our bedroom is becoming an ad for West Elm! Our sconces, duvet and pillow covers, and curtains are all from the modern store.

So I know it's a little late, but here is a post I made after Thanksgiving. Between finding a new career, moving in with Ryan and the craziness of the holidays, my blog was put on the back burner. But now I have a new routine, and that includes updating my blog weekly.
